NEW DELHI, INDIA (Metro Rail News): National High-Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRCL) has opened technical bids for the designing, manufacturing and installing tracks on the 508.17 Km of MAHSR. Four bidders have submitted their bids for the same. The package T-3 in Gujarat is the second of three-track related packages of the newly constructed HSR line. This line will connect both cities through 12 stations at an estimated cost of Rs.1.1 lakh crores. It will run from South of Vadodara to Sabarmati Depot, covering a total distance of 116.175 Km through Civil Packages.

Following are the lowest bidders:

  1. C5: L&T is the lowest bidder
  2. C6: Under Construction by L&T
  3. C7: Awarded to IRCON-DRA
  4. C8: SCC-VRSJV is the lowest bidder

Lead bidders are: 

  1. IRCON International
  2. Larsen and Toubro
  3. NCC
  4. Tata Projects Ltd. (TPL)

Scope of the work: Scope involves the design and construction of the track and other track-related works, including testing and commissioning design on the double line High-Speed Railway between Vadodara and Sabarmati.

After the technical evaluation of the bids, which will take a couple of months, the selected bidders’ financial bids will be revealed to find the lowest bidder.
