The network
Phase 1 formed an operational cross through the city with the Blue Line (Vastral Gam to Thaltej Gam) and the Red Line (APMC to Motera). Phase 2 extended the system north into Gandhinagar, reaching the GIFT City financial district, Gujarat National Law University and Mahatma Mandir. The corridors are largely elevated, with an underground stretch through the central city.
