GUJARAT/MAHARASTRA, INDIA(Metro Rail News): National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) this week opened technical bids for two civil contract packages of India’s first bullet train project to reveal the name of bidders.
According to reports, the following bidders have submitted their bids for the construction of major bridges in the route of 508.17 Km Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor.
Construction of bridges for double line high-speed railway for 04 No. PSC Bridges (GAD 9,10,11 and 1441) and 07 steel truss bridges (GAD 68,1134,12,61,14,15 and 62), 01 No. PSC Bridge (GAD33) and excluding fabrication and transportation of steel truss girders between Zaroli Village at Maharashtra- Gujarat Border. In the state of Gujarat and the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli for the project for the construction of Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor.
Tenders for packages were called in November 2020.

Now technical bids have been sent for evaluation by the tender committee.
The contact package worth Rs. 1389.70 Crore has been awarded to Larsen and Toubro infrastructure systems consortium in January 2021. The consortium will fabricate and transport 28 steel truss bridges for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor which will connect Ahmedabad in Gujarat to Mumbai in Maharashtra.
