Technical bids were opened in May 2025 to reveal that Alstom–L&T JV and DRA–Siemens JV are the only 2 bidders for the contract.
Recently, financial bids were opened to reveal DRA–Siemens JV as the lowest bidder for the signalling contract S-1.
