Chennai Metro invites tenders for its Porur – Poonamallee Section
Metro Rail’s last stretch to be opened in February first week

CHENNAI (Metro Rail News): Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) invited bids on Thursday for the construction of a 7.945 km elevated section from Porur Junction to Poonamallee Bypass of Chennai Metro’s which will connect Light House with Poonamallee Bypass through 30 stations.

The 29 km long section consists of 9 stations along with a line to Poonamallee Maintenance Depot. According to a news report, the tenure of the tender will be for three years.
