Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (UPMRCL) has been reconstituted as a single SPV for Metro Rail projects in various cities of Uttar Pradesh and has been entrusted with the responsibility of implementation and operation of the rail-based Mass Rapid Transit System (Metro) in Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra and Gorakhpur cities where metro projects have been recently approved by Government of India.

UPMRC Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria
- Assistant Manager (Operations) – Full-time Engineering Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics discipline.
- Station Controller/Train Operators – Full-time diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering.
- Maintainer/Electrician – ITI/NCVT in Electrician Trade.
- Maintainer/Civil – ITI/NCVT in Civil Trade
- Maintainer/S&T – ITI/NCVT in Electronic Mechanic Trade.
