Bhopal (Metro Rail News): Shri Manish Singh, a 1997 batch IAS officer of Madhya Pradesh Government, has been appointed as the new MD of the Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL). Till now the departmental principal secretary had charge of MD.
Prior to this Mr. Singh was secretary in the Urban Development and Housing Department in Madhya Pradesh.
Due to not having a full-time Managing Director, Bhopal and Indore Metro works were getting stuck.
