ਬੰਗਲੌਰ (ਮੈਟਰੋ ਰੇਲ ਨਿਊਜ਼): ਕਰਨਾਟਕ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਬੰਗਲੌਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਓਲਡ ਮਦਰਾਸ ਰੋਡ ਅਤੇ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰੌਨਿਕ ਸਿਟੀ ਫਲਾਈਓਵਰ ਨੂੰ ਜੋਡ਼ਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਇੱਕ ਐਲੀਵੇਟਿਡ ਕੋਰੀਡੋਰ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਲਈ ਬੋਲੀਆਂ ਮੰਗੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦੀ ਅਨੁਮਾਨਤ ਲਾਗਤ 852 ਕਰੋਡ਼ ਰੁਪਏ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੁਝ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਅਸਤ ਸਡ਼ਕਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਦੀ ਭੀਡ਼ ਨੂੰ ਘਟਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ੀ, ਵਪਾਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਆਈ. ਟੀ. ਹੱਬਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ।
ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵਿਤ ਲਾਂਘਾ ਸਵਾਮੀ ਵਿਵੇਕਾਨੰਦ ਮੈਟਰੋ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ, ਇੰਦਰਾ ਨਗਰ, ਪੁਰਾਣੀ ਹਵਾਈ ਅੱਡਾ ਸਡ਼ਕ, ਹੋਸੂਰ ਸਡ਼ਕ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਲਕ ਬੋਰਡ ਜੰਕਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਲੰਘੇਗਾ। ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਨੂੰ ਇੰਜੀਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ, ਖਰੀਦ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ (ਈ. ਪੀ. ਸੀ.) ਮਾਡਲ ਤਹਿਤ ਲਾਗੂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

Thanks for reporting on this proposed road project. It’d be really effective if you can show a typical road map too. There are enough maps for public use, that u can adapt here & mark relevant spots. Best wishes.
Wonderful elevation.
Elsewhere, on the same old Madras road, in the Suranjandas Road junction, people have to endure 25 to 30 minutes of chaos, to cross just one signal, manually operated.
Two unauthorised roads that have come up from Byappanhalli area, criss cross this signal, risking themselves and others.
So much for elevation !!
