Raebareli: There is good news for residents of Raebareli district of Uttar Pradesh. Soon they will get facility of Metro and bullet train coach factory near their residency area. The capacity of rail coach factory at Lalganj, Raebareli will increase three times. It will also have the construction of a coaches of proposed metro railway and high speed bullet train projects. Apart from this, the work of the first phase of the Electric Locomotive Maintenance Shed in Gorakhpur will be completed by December.
Industrial Development Minister Satish Mahana says that’ “the implementation of Rail Projects announced by the Railway Minister for UP will give new direction to the UP. This was stated by Satish Mahana in the meeting with Railway Officials on Tuesday for the five projects announced by the Railway Minister for the UP and the implementation of these schemes announced in the UP Investors Summit would give new growth to the UP development. Action by the center and the state officials on the implementation of the project by making an action plan in a time bound manner.”

Industrial Development Commissioner Anup Chandra Pandey said that, “the capacity of Rae Bareli Rail Coach Factory will be increased to five times. The construction of the coach of the Metro and Bullet train will be done here. As per the action taken in connection with the proposed Rail Referbasement Factory for Jhansi, 120 acres of land has been allotted by the Railways. Work on this will start soon.”
Further he said, that the tenders have been finalized for the work of Electric Locomotives Maintenance Shed, manufactured in Gorakhpur. The first phase of this shade will be done by December 31. According to railway officials, the work of the Railway Oxyeli Park of Fatehpur is almost complete. The next month, the exhibition of equipment and accessories related to the railway will be installed in the park.
General Manager of Raebareli Coach Factory Rajesh Agrawal, Principal Chief Maintenance Engineer Anup Kumar, Principal Chief Maintenance Engineer Northern Middle Railway Devendra Kumar, NER’s ADRM Mukesh and Special Secretary of Industrial Development Ankit Kumar Agrawal were present.
Malani Sitapur Rail Line
In the meeting, discussion on making the Heritage Eco Tourism Rail route involving the Malani Sitapur short line line connecting the railway route to Dudhwa and Karatnia Ghat. Railway officials have been asked to discuss this with the tourism department of the state and take further action.
