Bengaluru (Metro Rail News): NCC Limited has officially received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Karnataka’s Rail Infrastructure Development Company (K-RIDE) pertaining to the design and construction of nine stations within Package C4B of the Bangalore Suburban Rail Project (BSRP) Corridor 4, also known as the Kanaka Line.
The Line 4 (Kanka Line) spans 46.88 km between Heelalige and Rajanukunte through 19 stations. However, the Package C4B includes the construction of 9 stations on this line only.
Bidding Process
NCC’s Bid Value: Rs. 649.15 crore
Karnataka’s Rail Infrastructure Development Company (K-RIDE) invited bids for this contract at Rs. 528.05 crore, and a 2-year deadline.
On 9 September 2024, Technical bids were opened to reveal that NCC and RVNL–Rithwik JV were the only 2 firms that had submitted the bids for the contract.
Technical evaluation of the submitted birds took place on 18 February 2025, and RVNL – Rithwik JV bids got rejected in the technical round.
Financial bids were opened on 18 February 2025. Furthermore, financial evaluation took place on 25 April. Since NCC was the only bidder, it was declared the lowest bidder for the contract.

The awarded contractor will be responsible for the civil construction of 9 stations of Corridor 4B under Package C4B.

KRIDE’s Brief Scope: Design & Construction of Nine (9 Nos.) Stations i.e. Elevated (1 No.) and At-Grade (8 Nos.) BSRP Stations of Corridor-4B at Channasandra, Horamavu, Hennur, Thanisandra, R. K. Hegdenagar, Jakkur, Yelahanka, Muddanahalli, Rajankunte, including Civil, Structural, Entry / Exit Structure, Steel FOB, Roof Structures, PEB work,s Architectural finishes and E&M Works and Detailed Design & Engineering (DDC) with all associated works for Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project (BSRP)
The scope of work under this contract also includes the systems installation work, such as electrical & mechanical (E&M), pre-engineered building (PEB) roof, and architectural finishing on Corridor 4B.
Other contracts received by NCC for BSRP
In January 2025, NCC also bagged Package C2-A from Karnataka’s Rail Infrastructure Development Company (K-RIDE) at Rs. 501.25 crore. The Package C2-A includes the construction of 8 stations on Corridor 2 (Mallige Line).
