Bangalore (Metro Rail News): Rail Infrastructure Development Company Karnataka Limited ( K-RIDE) revealed Jindal Steel and Power Ltd. as the lowest bidder for the track supply contract of the Bangalore Suburban Railway Project.
Bidding Process
K-RIDE floated tender for this contract in 2024 with a 365-day deadline. Technical bids were opened on 13 November 2024, revealing that only one firm had submitted bids for the contract.
The Technical Evaluation took place on 5 April 2025. On 11 April 2025, financial bids were opened, and Jindal Steel and Power Ltd. was declared as the lowest Bidder for the contract.
