CHENNAI (Metro Rail News): On account of Deepavali, Peak Hour Chennai Metro Train Services will be extended between 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm instead of between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm on 20th, 21st and 22nd October 2022 with a headway of 5 minutes.
During the evening peak hour service, passengers will receive an increased frequency
of train services in less than 5 minutes to enable fast movement of passenger traffic
between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm only on the 20th, 21st and 22nd of October 2022.

Hence passengers are requested to plan their journeys accordingly during the evening
peak hours between 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm on 20th, 21st and 22nd October 2022.
The above extension of Peak Hour Metro Train Trips is for 20 October 2022,
21st October 2022 and 22 October 2022 only.
