Delhi (Metro Rail News): Delhi Metro Phase 4 advanced as Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) invited bids for the Package D2-C02 of the Golden Line spanning 23.622 km from Aerocity to Tuglakabad through 15 stations.

Package D2-C02: Scope of Work
The scope of work under Package D2-C02 includes the construction of a 7.298 km viaduct and the construction of only platform level of 7 stations and a Pre-Engineered Building Structure at all stations of the Lajpat Nagar to Saket G Block Corridor of Delhi Metro Phase 4 Project.

Note: All the stations mentioned above will have a length of 74 m except for the Pushp Vihar station (140 m) suggesting that stations will allow for 3 coaches train operations.
Funding: The construction of the Package of D2-C02 will be financed through equity contributions from the government of India and the government of Delhi, along with other funding mechanisms employed by DMRC.
Further Information
The construction of Line 11 connecting Saket G-Block and Lajpat Nagar will be carried through 2 packages. Package D2-C02 involves the construction of a viaduct and platform level of 7 stations on this corridor. However, the concourse level of these stations will be built under a separate package.
