About the project
The project focuses on upgrading the radio communication system that was installed during Delhi Metro’s Phase-I expansion. Radio systems are important for metro operations. They allow continuous communication between train operators, station staff, control centers, and maintenance teams. A reliable communication network helps metro services run safely and efficiently. As some parts of the Phase-I network have been in use for many years, DMRC is upgrading the system to improve performance and ensure dependable communication across the network.
