Nagpur–Varanasi HSR is a proposed 760 km bullet train corridor planned by NHSRCL to connect Nagpur and Varanasi across 10 stations. Its route map, stations and latest updates are below.
The Nagpur-Varanasi High-Speed Rail corridor is a proposed bullet train line of about 760 km planned by the National High Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRCL) to connect central India with the east, running from Nagpur to Varanasi across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. It is designed for 320 km/h running across about 10 stations.
The corridor is at the proposed stage; alignment, cost and timeline are yet to be finalised.
Joined to the Mumbai-Nagpur corridor at one end and the Delhi-Varanasi and Varanasi-Howrah lines at the other, this link is a missing piece of a nationwide high-speed grid that would let Mumbai reach eastern India by bullet train.
