Jupiter Wagons bags Contract worth Rs 1,617 Crore from Indian Railways

NEW DELHI  (Metro Rail News): Jupiter Wagons announced on Tuesday that it has bagged a contract worth Rs 1,617 Crores from the Indian Railways. 

Scope of Contract 

The contract scope includes manufacturing and supplying 4,000 BOXNS wagons for a contract value of Rs 1,617 crore. 

BOXNS Wagons

Bogie Open Wagon (BOXN) with Pneumatic Brake carries heavy loads. It can bear an axle load of 20.32 tons with a 75-80 Km/hr speed.
