MUMBAI (Metro Rail News): The much-awaited Kalyan-Taloja Metro Line 12 is one step closer to reality in the next few months.
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) floated the first tender for metro line 12 on December 27, and the bids are expected to be opened by February 2.

Once the bids are opened, the MMRDA will select the most suitable contractor for constructing the Kalyan-Taloja Metro Line 12. The project’s estimated cost is Rs 11.285 crore, and the construction is likely to begin in November.
