KOLKATA (Metro Rail News): A trial run on the Joka – Taratala stretch of the Joka – Esplanade Metro project (Purple Line) was conducted on 24th December 2022 in an AC rake.
Shri Arun Arora, General Manager, other Principal Head of Departments and senior officials of Metro Railway were present during this trial run. General Manager inspected passenger amenities of different stations on this stretch and took stock of the last-minute preparation, as this stretch will be opened very soon.
Shri Arora expressed his satisfaction seeing the preparation before the commencement of the commercial run after the inspection.
