MUMBAI (Metro Rail News): Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has invited bids for the telecom contract of Mumbai Metro’s Lines 9 & 7A. The Line 7A & 9 are the extensions of Mumbai Metro’s Red Line, which spans 16.5 km connecting Andheri (E) and Dahisar (E).

The contract includes the Design, Manufacture, Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of the Telecommunication System (except the Tetra System) for Line 9 and Line 7A’s section between Andheri East and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. Additionally, the contract also includes the Dongri Depot.

The under-construction Line 9 is the extension of Line 7 (Red Line ). The Line 9 spans 11.38 km from Dahisar East to Mira Bhayandar, covering 7 stations.  

The under-construction Line 7A is the extension of Line 7 (Red Line ). The Line 7A spans 3.17 km from Andheri to CSIA Terminal, covering 2 stations.
