NEW DELHI (Metro Rail News): Shri Sandeep Srivastava has been appointed as the Director of Rolling Stock NHSRCL on 22 September 2023. He has been in NHsRCL since September 2017 on deputation from Indian Railways.
He had begun his journey as Assistant Electrical Engineer at Indian Railways in May 1995. Gradually, he climbed the stairs and became Executive Director and Director of Indian Railways in March 2014.
Later, he joined NHSRCL as Executive Director in September 2017 on deputation from the Railway Ministry, India. His educational qualifications include:
- BSc Engg, Electrical from Dayalbagh Educational Institute
- M.Tech from IIT, Roorkee0
He has 11 years of experience in the maintenance of traction rolling stock in Indian Railways. He has also worked in the field of New Electric Locomotives for Indian Railways with a focus on Propulsion Systems at RDSO.
