NEW DELHI (Metro Rail News): Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has invited bids for the rolling stock Contract RS20 of Delhi Metro Phase 4. This tender has been issued for the 26.463 km Rithala-Narela-Nathupur Corridor of Delhi Metro Phase 4. This corridor is the extension of Line 1 (Red Line) of Delhi Metro.

Contract Scope of Work: Design, Manufacture, Supply, Testing, and Commissioning of 68 Numbers of Broad Gauge Cars for Rithala-Narela-Nathupur Corridor (Line-1 Extension) of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. including Training of Employer’s Manpower and Comprehensive Maintenance for these 68 Numbers Broad Gauge Cars as well as Depot M&Ps, Special tools, Jigs and Fixtures, Testing and Diagnostic Equipment, Test benches, Material Handling Equipment etc. for a period of Fifteen Years. 

The Phase 4 of Delhi Metro consists of 6 metro corridors. The Phase 4 of Delhi Metro consists of one new metro corridor and 5 extensions of the existing lines. The details of the Corridors have been mentioned below:
