The number of passengers has reached 54,504, and that’s why Kochi Metro Rail Ltd. has decided to increase the frequency of trains. The ridership was at its maximum on December 4 when it touched 50,000. As a result, KMRL has decided to reduce the timings between services on Sundays, Mondays and Saturdays. The time between the two services will be 6.15 minutes instead of 7 minutes.

The non-peak hours will be 7.30 minutes instead of 8.15 minutes.
