CHENNAI(Metro RAIL News): The Avadi Police Commissionerate has declared a vehicular diversion from August 1 between Porur and Poonamallee bypass Chennai Metro Rail Ltd.’s (CMRL) Phase 2 Corridor-4 on Poonamallee Trunk Road.

In order to get to the Outer Ring Road from the Poonamallee Bypass, vehicles travelling in the direction of Minjur must turn left and travel down a service road for 200 metres.

Vehicles travelling from Vandalur to Poonamalle should turn left at the Poonamallee Bypass, cross the Clover Leaf Bridge, continue until the Kolappancheri Toll Plaza, and then make a right U-turn to get to Poonamallee. Between the Clover Leaf Bridge and the Kolappancheri Toll Plaza, left turns are no longer permitted.
