PATNA (Metro Rail News): Patna Metro’s underground work has gained momentum with tender process gathering pace by the implementing agency, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). DMRC has floated a tender for the electrical and mechanical (E&M) work of the underground stations of the Patna Metro Corridor-2. The approximate cost of work is ₹327.96 crores and the completion period is of 24 months.

Scope of Work

The selected contractor will have to do the design verification, detail engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical and mechanical system, DG sets, environment control system, tunnel ventilation system and building management system for underground stations of corridor-2 of Patna Metro Rail Project.

About Patna Metro Corridor-2

Patna Metro Corridor-2 (Blue Line) connects the new ISBT with Patna Junction. The line has 12 stations including 7 underground stations and 5 elevated stations. The elevated stations from the new ISBT to Malahi Pakri are already operational while the underground stretch is under construction.
