issued tender notice for appointment of General Consultant for Extension of Mumbai

Details of Work – Appointment of General Consultant for Extension of Mumbai Metro Line 7 – Andheri (E) to CSIA and Dahisar (E) to Mira Bhayandar (Mira Bhayandar-CSIA)of Mumbai Metro Rail Project of MMRDA, Mumbai.

Estimated completion period of work is 54 months.

Last date of submission of tender documents is 18.06.2018 (up to 1800 hrs) and tender will be opened on 20.06.2018 at 1130 hrs.
In last year March 2017, the MMRDA announced that the DMRC was preparing a detailed project report (DPR) on Mumbai Metro Line – 7 Extension. Preliminary plans prepared jointly by MMRDA and DMRC, proposed a 9 km elevated extension of Metro 7 from Dahisar to Bhayander, via Mira Road. The extension will have 9 stations, with an inter-station distance of 1 km. The line will run parallel to the Surat-Dahisar Highway, then turn left at Kashi Mira Junction, before passing through Mira Road-Bhayander, and terminating at Golden Nest Circle, Bhayander. The project is estimated to cost ₹3,600 crore (US$530 million).
