MAHARASHTRA (Metro rail News): The Maharashtra Rail Infrastructure Development Corpn. has floated bids for the construction of civil works, including earthwork, blanketing, major & minor bridges, and RUB between the Itwari & Nagbhir section (195) in the division of South East Central Railway.

Name of Work: Construction of civil works, i.e. earthwork, blanketing, major & minor bridges, wildlife mitigation structures, Road Under Bridges (RUB)/ Limited Height Subway (LHS), retaining walls, drains, ground improvement works, cement concrete lining, cross drainage works, relocation of existing roads & utilities, providing & fixing of Over Head Equipment mast etc. including all Chord lines, shunting, isolations/sand hump/crossovers etc. in all the station yards in connection with gauge conversion work between Itwari and Nagbhir section in Nagpur division of South East Central Railway.

The estimated cost of the work: INR 228,90,85,660 Crore

EMD: INR 1,15,95,500 Crore

Completion Period: 10 months.
