Mumbai (Metro Rail News): Mumbai Metro progressed as Larsen & Toubro ( L&T) has been declared as the lowest Bidder by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority ( MMRDA) for 5 major systems under Package CA-234 of Line 4 & Line 4A spanning 35.2 km connecting Wadala- Kasarvadavali – Gaimukh.
MMRDA re-invited Bids for this contract in February 2024 with an estimated cost of Rs.4279.49 crores and a 19-year contract duration.

Thane Ghodhbunder residents have suffered the most in the last 20 years due to rapid urbanization, but the infrastructure building by the governments has not kept pace with it.
