Compilation of trial run on Kanpur Metro Corridor-2
On October 13, the test run was successfully completed on Corridor-2 from CSA to Barra-8 which travelled on the downline from the Depot through Rawatpur, Kakadeo and Double Pulia underground stations to the ramp near Vijay Nagar Chauraha. Track construction at the corridor’s depot has also been completed.
The initial run demonstrated progress on the new alignment, but it does not indicate readiness for the passenger operations. Further testing, system checks and other required clearance will be needed before the corridor can open to the public.
