MUMBAI (Mumbai Metro): After six months of negotiations, J Kumar Infraprojects finally received Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from MMRDA (Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority) for completing the balance civil work of 12.8 km long elevated section of Mumbai Metro Line-2B which includes construction of elevated viaduct and 10 elevated stations.

As per LOA, MMRDA awarded this contract to J Kumar for a final value of INR 1307.88 crores. Originally, the contract for this 12.8 km long elevated section was awarded to Simplex Infrastructure in 2017 but was terminated in January 2020 due to poor progress of work.
