ETA Engineering to Install Systems at 4 Subterranean Stops of Delhi Metro Silver line

NEW DELHI (Metro Rail News): ETA Engineering Pvt. Ltd. was selected as the most cost-effective company to install the electrical and mechanical system, environment control system and tunnel ventilation system at four underground stops of the 23.622 km Silver Line (Line-10) of Delhi Metro.

Delhi Metro’s Phase 4 project in South Delhi, situated mainly beneath the surface, will join Aerocity to Tughalakabad via 16 stations, 12 of which will be built through civil packages DC-07 (Afcons Infrastructure), DC-08 (J Kumar Infraprojects) and DC-09 (Larsen & Toubro) below the ground.

In July 2022, DMRC called for tenders for contract DE-11, funded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). This contract had a 2.95-year deadline and an unknown estimate. When the technical bids were opened in October 2022, it was revealed that there were seven bidders.

DMRC’s Brief Scope includes Design verification, Detail engineering, SITC of Electrical and Mechanical system, DG set, Environment control system, Tunnel ventilation system and Building Management System for four underground stations of line-10 of Phase-IV of Delhi MRTS.

Since October 2022, an evaluation of the technical bid for a larger system package (DE-11) that includes seven underground and four elevated stations between Chhatarpur and Tughlakabad, similar to the existing line, has been underway.
