DELHI (Metro Rail News): Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has invited bids for the design and construction of seven elevated metro stations on the Lajpat Nagar-Saket G-Block corridor under Delhi Metro Phase-IV. The project falls under the Delhi Mass Rapid Transport System (Phase-IV Additional Corridors) and will receive financial support through a loan from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Scope of Work
Under this contract, the selected contractor will design and construct seven elevated stations namely Lajpat Nagar, Andrews Ganj, Greater Kailash-1, Chirag Delhi, Pushpa Bhawan, Saket District Centre and Pushp Vihar including entry/exit structure, foot over bridge, architectural, finishing, plumbing and ground restoration including multi-model integration works etc. for Lajpat Nagar to Saket-G Block corridor of Delhi MRTS Phase-IV project.
About the project
The Lajpat Nagar-Saket G-Block corridor forms part of Delhi Metro’s Phase-IV expansion programme. The corridor will connect important residential, commercial and institutional areas in South Delhi. The seven new stations will improve access to metro services and make travel easier for thousands of daily commuters. The project will also strengthen connectivity with other transport modes through multimodal integration facilities.
