Delhi (Metro Rail News): Paras Railtech has been awarded the track contract DT-10R of Delhi Metro’s Line 10 at Rs 125.37 crore by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. The Golden Line covers a 23.622 km route from Aerocity to Tuglakabad.
DMRC’s Brief Scope: Installation, testing and commissioning of ballastless track, including supply of MSS and Buffer Stop for Line-10 (Aerocity to Tughlakabad) (ch. -760m to ch. 23286m).
Bidding process
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) initially solicited bids for track work under Package DC-10 in July 2023; however, the bidding process was unexpectedly cancelled in August. The invitations for bids were reissued in September 2024 under Package DT-10R, with a stipulated completion deadline of 1,080 days (equivalent to 2.95 years).
In December 2024, the technical bids were opened, revealing that four firms had submitted proposals for the contract.. In February, Paras Railtech became the lowest bidder for the contract.
Funding: The Package will be financed by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Delhi Metro’s Golden Line
The Golden Line of the Delhi Metro, a crucial part of the 112.32 km Phase 4 project, will extend from Aerocity to Tughlakabad, encompassing a total of 16 stations.
Currently, the civil construction for the Golden Line is in progress through four distinct contract packages.
