New Delhi: On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a ride on the Delhi Metro’s Yellow Line train at the Lok Kalyan Marg station to reach the venue of an inauguration ceremony in Alipur area of North Delhi. Here are some photographs-
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the “Dr. Ambedkar National Memorial (DANM)” at 26, Alipore Road, Delhi at the place of Mahaparinirvana of Dr. Ambedkar here today. The memorial is dedicated to the life and contributions of Dr. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Constitution of India. The Foundation stone of DANM was laid by the Prime Minister on 21st March, 2016.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (Friday) travelled by Delhi Metro from Lok Kalyan Marg station to Vidhan Sabha station of Yellow Line from 5:41 pm to 6:01 pm.” – Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.

Metro services on the yellow line continued as per normal schedule throughout the Prime Minister’s journey.
