NAGPUR (Metro Rail News): National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) today invited bids for the preparatory survey work to develop the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the upcoming 741 km Mumbai – Nasik – Nagpur High-Speed Rail project in Maharashtra.
This is going to be the third of its kind in India after the 865 km Delhi – Varanasi High-Speed Rail Line and 886 km Delhi – Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Line for which basic preliminary work has commenced to start construction on the project.
The Scope of the work includes Survey, Identification of Overhead, Over Ground, Underground Utilities and Identification Of Power Sourcing Options for substations along The Proposed Mumbai- Nasik-Nagpur High-Speed Rail Corridor. The bidding documents can be obtained from the official website. 12 new stations are tentatively planned to be built at Shahapur, Igatputi, Nasik, Shirdi, Aurangabad, Jalna, Mehkar, Malegaon Jahangir, Karanja Lad, Pulgaon, Wardha and Nagpur are going to be there on this corriddor.
