RAJASTHAN (Metro Rail News): North Western Railway has invited bids for a major track renewal project on the Raikabagh-Phalodi Junction section in Rajasthan. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 42.86 crore and It will cover the renewal of railway tracks over a distance of 92 track kilometres.

Scope of work
The contractor will carry out Complete Track Renewal (CTR) work on the Raikabagh-Phalodi Junction section. The work will cover Raikabagh – Phalodi Jn. CTR(P) – 92.000 Tkm (From Km 0.000 to Km 92.000) by Contractors own PQRS/SQRS portal under ADEN/Line-II Jurisdiction.
About the Project
The Raikabagh-Phalodi route is an important railway section in western Rajasthan. Passenger and freight trains use this route regularly. Through this project, North Western Railway plans to replace aging track infrastructure and improve the overall performance of the line.
