Delhi (Metro Rail News): National Capital Region Transit Corporation has invited international bids to appoint a General Consultant for the Delhi-Panipat-Karnal Namo Bharat Corridor. The tender marks another major step in the expansion of the regional rapid transit network in North India. The selected consultant will help NCRTC in planning, supervision, and execution of the upcoming regional rapid transit project.

Scope of Work
The selected consultant will provide overall consultancy services for the corridor. The work includes design review, project supervision, and monitoring of construction activities for Delhi-Panipat-Karnal Namo Bharat Corridor.
About the Project
The Delhi-Panipat-Karnal Corridor is part of the NCRTC’s plan to expand the Namo Bharat regional rapid transit network in the National Capital Region. The proposed corridor will connect Delhi to Sonepat, Gannaur, Samalkha, Panipat and Karnal in the state of Haryana. The project aims to reduce traffic congestion and strengthen regional public transport infrastructure.
