PUNE (Metro Rail News): Colossus Infra Projects Pvt.Ltd has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from Maha-Metro (Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited) for the Electrical, Mechanical , Elevators and Escalators Works for the PCMC Nigdi Corridor of Pune Metro Rail Project.
Maha-Metro invited bids for this contract. Technical bids were opened on 29 Aug 2025 and only one firm submitted a bid for the contract. Financial bids for the bid was opened on 02 Sep 2025 and financial evaluation of the bids took place on 12 Feb 2026. After the financial evaluation round Colossus Infra Projects was declared as the lowest bidder for the contract and received LoA for the same.

Contract Scope of Work: Design Verification, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Electrical and Mechanical (E andM), Elevators and Escalators Works at Elevated Stations of PCMC Nigdi Corridor of Pune Metro Rail Project.
The PCMC Nigdi Corridor of Pune Metro Rail Project is the northern extension of Pune Metro’s Purple Line. This extension spans 4.413 km covering 4 elevated stations. Originally, the Purple Line of Pune Metro is operational and spans 16.59 km from Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) to Swargate featuring 12 stations. Later on to further extend connectivity, Maha-Metro planned the northern and southern extension of Purple Line. The details have been mentioned below:
