GUJARAT (Metro Rail News): The Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (MAHSR) Project continues to progress steadily toward completion. Recently, the National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) announced the names of four bidders who have submitted proposals for the construction of multi-modal integration facilities and station plaza development at four bullet train stations in Gujarat.

The construction works on the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail (MAHSR) corridor are progressing steadily. Recently, the 17th river bridge out of 21 planned in Gujarat was completed on the Vishwamitri River in Vadodara district.
Earlier, on 9th July 2025, the project recorded a major breakthrough in Maharashtra when the first successful drive was completed in the 21 km-long tunnel between Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) and Shilphata. This milestone involved the continuous tunnelling of a 2.7 km section using the NATM method.
