Delhi (Metro Rail News): Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has issued a tender for the architectural finishing contract for 4 stations of Delhi Metro Phase 4’s Golden Line. The Golden Line spans 23.622 km from Aerocity to Tughlakabad through 15 stations.

DMRC Brief Scope: Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) Structures and Design & Construction of External facade, Water Supply, Sanitary Installation, Drainage, Site development works at Four (04) Elevated stations namely Sangam Vihar, Khanpur, Ambedkar Nagar and Saket-G block, Line-10 of Delhi MRTS Phase-IV Project” 

Recent Updates on Delhi Metro’s Golden Line 

The Golden Line (Line 10) of the Delhi Metro recently achieved a major milestone with the successful breakthrough of the Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) Sonakshi at Vasant Kunj Station. This breakthrough was followed by TBM-4’s breakthrough at the IGNOU station. 

This tunnel breakthrough was achieved in Package DC-08, which was awarded to J Kumar Infraprojects (JKIL). Notably, this breakthrough represents the 8th tunnel breakthrough on the Golden Line.
