Objectives of the Feeder Bus Service:

1. Enhance ‘first to last mile’ connectivity for Pune Metro passengers within an integrated transport framework.

2. Promote the use of public transport.

3. Increase ridership on the Pune Metro.

4. Reduce carbon emissions and pollution levels.

5. Alleviate traffic congestion by reducing reliance on private vehicles.

This new service route was carefully planned, taking into account factors such as minimum distance and travel time, current road conditions, the density of bus stops, population density in the area, and the number of employees working nearby. This initiative is crucial in establishing ‘first to last mile connectivity’ and promoting public transport.
