LUCKNOW (Metro Rail News): Shri Navin Kumar has joined as Director Rolling Stock & Systems, Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited. Shri Kumar worked as the Establishment Officer in the Ministry of Railways before joining UPMRC.
An Electrical Engineer by Profession, he has over 30 years of experience in the Railways. He has held important positions in the Railway Board Zonal Railways, including Joint Secretary and Executive Director- Establishment (Gazetted Cadre).
During his tenure at Banaras Locomotive Works, he was instrumental in the Design, Erection and Commissioning of India’s first IEEE-387 compliant 2.4 MW DG Set for Kaiga and Rawatbhata Atomic Power Plants.
As DRS, Shri Navin Kumar will look after the Rolling Stock and Systems of the Lucknow, Kanpur and Agra Metro projects.
