Noida Metro

Operational Operator: Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) Length: 29.7 km Official site ↗

Noida Metro links Noida with Greater Noida across the fast-growing eastern edge of the National Capital Region. Run by the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC), its Aqua Line opened in 2019 and serves the residential, institutional and industrial areas spread along the corridor, complementing the Delhi Metro that reaches into Noida from the west.

The network

The Aqua Line runs about 29.7 km, fully elevated, connecting sector after sector between Noida and Greater Noida with a long string of stations. It runs close to the Delhi Metro’s Blue Line at one end, and work is planned to link the two networks more directly so riders can cross between systems with less walking.

Operator and what comes next

NMRC builds and runs the Aqua Line. The current focus is on extensions, including a branch toward Greater Noida West, one of the region’s densest residential pockets. Approvals, tenders and contract awards keep moving as the extensions progress.
