The comments made by the “activist” make no sense. I am not sure when did Bangalore Chennai route become a Semi- HSR route. The fastest train between the cities still takes 5 hrs. That’s an average speed less than 75kmph.
And as for the suburban structure of HSR, he should probably read more about Tokaido Shinkansen.
