What is Kavach?

Kavach is Indian Railways' indigenous Automatic Train Protection (ATP) system. It automatically applies brakes if a driver fails to act on a signal or speed restriction, and is being rolled out across high-density routes.

What are Vande Bharat trains?

Vande Bharat Express is India's indigenously built semi-high-speed EMU train, manufactured at ICF Chennai, operating at up to 160 km/h. Sleeper variants and a broader production programme of 200 more trainsets are under way.
