
LUCKNOW (Metro Rail Corporation): Lucknow Metro has launched an electric feeder vehicle service to provide safe, affordable and convenient last-mile connectivity for passengers. Officially named ‘Anjaneya’, the service started operations on Wednesday, 12 August 2026, from Amausi Metro station.
In the initial phase, the service will cover four routes and operate daily from 6:00 am to 10:30 pm. Fares will range between ₹15 and ₹50, making it an economical option for daily commuters. Each vehicle is equipped with SOS emergency buttons, CCTV cameras and GPS tracking to ensure passenger safety and real-time monitoring.

The new feeder service will help passengers easily travel between metro stations and nearby neighbourhoods, reducing dependence on auto-rickshaws or private vehicles for short distances. It is expected to benefit office-goers, students, senior citizens and families who often face difficulty in reaching metro stations comfortably.
