ಮುಂಬೈ (ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ರೈಲು ಸುದ್ದಿ): ಮುಂಬೈ ಮೆಟ್ರೋಪಾಲಿಟನ್ ರೀಜನ್ ಡೆವಲಪ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ಅಥಾರಿಟಿ (ಎಂಎಂಆರ್ಡಿಎ) ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ಲೈನ್ 2ಬಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚೆಂಬೂರ್ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣವನ್ನು ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 13ರಂದು (ಇಂದು) ತೆರೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಇದು ಕಾರಿಡಾರ್ನ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಒಂದು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಿಂದ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಹೊಸ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣವು ಮೆಟ್ರೋ, ಉಪನಗರ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮೊನೊರೈಲ್ ಅನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಇದು ಪೂರ್ವ ಮುಂಬೈನ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ವಿನಿಮಯವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಚೆಂಬೂರ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣವು ಜೂನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ಆಯುಕ್ತರಿಂದ (ಸಿಎಂಆರ್ಎಸ್) ಅನುಮೋದನೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಿತು. ಈ ಅನುಮೋದನೆಯು ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಗಳ ಕೊನೆಯ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಕ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೆರವುಗೊಳಿಸಿತು. ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ದೇವೇಂದ್ರ ಫಡ್ನವೀಸ್ ಅವರು ಇಂದು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಉಪ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಎಂ. ಎಂ. ಆರ್. ಡಿ. ಎ. ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಏಕನಾಥ್ ಶಿಂಧೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉಪ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸುನೇತ್ರಾ ಪವಾರ್ ಅವರು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣವು ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿದೆ. ಎಂ. ಎಂ. ಆರ್. ಡಿ. ಎ. ಇಂದು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಿದ್ದು, ಅವುಗಳೆಂದರೆಃ
- 2ಬಿ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಚೆಂಬೂರ್ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ
- ಸಾಂತಾಕ್ರೂಜ್-ಚೆಂಬೂರ್ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಎರಡನೇ ಹಂತ
- ಥಾಣೆ-ಬೋರಿವಲಿ ಅವಳಿ ಸುರಂಗ ಯೋಜನೆಗಾಗಿ ಟಿಬಿಎಂ ಅರ್ಜುನ
- ಬಿ. ಕೆ. ಸಿ. ಕನೆಕ್ಟರ್ಗೆ ಮಾಜಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಾ. ಬಾಬಾಸಾಹೇಬ್ ಭೋಸಲೆ ಅವರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಮರುನಾಮಕರಣ
ವಾಕಿಂಗ್ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಸಾರಿಗೆ ವಿಧಾನಗಳು
ಚಂಬೂರು ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆಯು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಅದರ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣವು ಚಂಬೂರು ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 200 ಮೀಟರ್ ಮತ್ತು ವಿ. ಎನ್. ಪುರವ್ ಮಾರ್ಗ್ ಮೊನೊರೈಲ್ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 100 ಮೀಟರ್ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಇದು ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ಲೈನ್ 2ಬಿ, ಉಪನಗರ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬೈ ಮೊನೊರೈಲ್ ಎಂಬ ಮೂರು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರ ತರುತ್ತದೆ.

ಉಪನಗರ ರೈಲಿನ ಮೂಲಕ ಚೆಂಬೂರ್ಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರಿಗೆ, ಲೈನ್ 2ಬಿ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿತ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಸಲು ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಆಯ್ಕೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಂತೆಯೇ, ಪೂರ್ವ ಉಪನಗರಗಳ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರು ರಸ್ತೆ ಸಾರಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಅವಲಂಬಿಸುವ ಬದಲು ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ಮತ್ತು ಉಪನಗರ ರೈಲುಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಮುಂಬೈ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ ಲೈನ್ 2ಬಿ ಯ ಮೊದಲ ಹಂತವು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಡೈಮಂಡ್ ಗಾರ್ಡನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಂಡಾಲೆ ನಡುವಿನ ಐಡಿ1 ಕಿ. ಮೀ. ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ಐದು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆಃ

- ಶಿವಾಜಿ ಚೌಕ್
- ಬಿಎಸ್ಎನ್ಎಲ್ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ

ಚೆಂಬೂರಿನ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪೂರ್ವ ವಿಭಾಗವು ಈಗ ಆರು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮೊದಲ ಹಂತವು ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿತು. ಚೆಂಬೂರಿನ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಯು ತುಲನಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಸಣ್ಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯ ಕಾರಿಡಾರ್ ಅನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈನ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತ ಉಪನಗರ ರೈಲು ಮತ್ತು ಮೊನೊರೈಲ್ ಜಾಲಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ನೇರ ಸಂಪರ್ಕವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ.
ಮುಂಬೈ ಮೆಟ್ರೋಃ ಎಂಎಂಆರ್ಡಿಎ ಲೈನ್ 6 ಮತ್ತು 7ಎಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಗ್ನೇಜ್ ಕೆಲಸಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ₹29.63 ಕೋಟಿ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ
The Kurla Railway Station is removed as a Main Interchanged Station from the DN Nagar-Bandra-Mankhurd Metro-2B Corridor. Whereas in earlier planning and proposal the Kurla Railway station was included the interchanged station of Metro 2B alignment.
A public consultation meeting was held on 16/01/2017 at MMRDA office in which we had suggested to MMRDA for considering the Kurla Railway Station be the interchange station on this Metro-2B Corridor and explained the following aspects about this and gave reasons why it is necessary.
The Kurla Railway Station is junction & Major Station of Central Main & Harbour Local Train Line.
This Kurla Railway Station has stoppage of both Slow & Fast Local Trains.
The Central Main & Harbor commuters are interchanging only at Kurla Station.
Approx. 10-15 Lakh Local train commuters from Karjat- Kasara – CST – Panvel etc.
More than 300 BEST Buses on & above 20 Routes & approx. 8-10 Lakh BEST commuters are roaming from Kurla Railways Station.
The Students, Employees, worker & visitors towards Kalina University, Santacruze, BKC, Kamani, Bandra, Andheri, Mahul, etc area are traveling through Kurla Central Railways Station.
This Kurla Railway Station is centre of the city & suburb which connect east & west with shortest route.
In that meeting, the MMRDA officers were ensured us that they will consider our suggestion. But MMDRA has yet not been replied nor consider our suggestion.
At present situation there is no traffic free & comfortable route is available from Kurla to BCK for traveling. The commuters & employees are helpless to walk from BKC to Kurla Station. The projected Metro 2B connection was the sole hope of BKC commuters to connect Kurla Station to BKC, but it seem that the MMRDA has not been planned and surveyed properly on this route, not taken peoples opinion, not understand the commuters difficulties only just diverted the route to Tilaknagar Terminus (in remote area). The contractor ofr this work is been selected by you.
The Development Projects were done to provide more and more facilities to the people. But the MMRDA is fooling the people by wasting money in this manner, The example of this the failed Monorail from Chembur to Wadala which now is closed due to less commuter and have non safety aspects adopted.
In view of all above the MMRDA are placing metro 2B at wrong location we are against this decision for not considering Kurla Railway Station as interchange station in Proposed DN Nagar-Bandra-Mankhurd Metro-2B Corridor.
We requesting and suggesting th MMRDA that please review the alignment of Metro-2B and insisting you to consider and include the Kurla Railway Station as interchange station on this Metro-2B Corridor for better facilities to large no. of commuters travelling from Kurla Railway Station.
