JAIPUR (Metro Rail News): Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Limited (JMRCL) invited bids for track work on the Phase 1C and Phase 1D extensions of the Jaipur Metro project. The contract has an estimated value of Rs 78.46 crore and covers the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of ballastless tracks for the two upcoming metro stretches.

Scope of Work
The work includes Installation, Testing & commissioning of Ballastless track of standard gauge including supply of 1080 HH rails, Fastening System, Turnouts, Scissor Cross Over, Check rails, MSS & Others for Jaipur Metro Rail Project Phase 1C (Badi Chaupar dead end Ch. 10383.123 m to Transport Nagar dead end Ch. 14231.304 m) & Phase 1D (Mansarovar dead end Ch. 1243.930 m to Ajmer Road chauraha dead end Ch. 2595.930) at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
About the Project
Jaipur Metro plans to expand its network through Phase 1C and Phase 1D. Phase 1C will extend the metro line from Badi Chaupar to Transport Nagar, while Phase 1D will connect Mansarovar with Ajmer Road Chauraha. These extensions will improve connectivity in both eastern and western parts of Jaipur and provide faster travelling options for daily commuters.
