About Pune Metro’s Purple Line
Operational route: Currently, the Purple Line is operational from PCMC to Civil Court spanning 16.6 km through 13 stations.
- In September 2024, The Purple Line’s extension between Civil Court and Swargate spanning 3.3 km became operational. This section features 3 new stations.
- The extension from Swargate to Katraj spans 5.464 km through 3 stations.
- Purple Line’s northern extension between Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) and Bhakti Shakti (under construction) spans 4.519 km through 5 stations.
