DELHI (Metro Rail News): Titagarh Rail System Ltd. has received a significant additional order of 4,955 wagon units of BOXNHL worth approximately ₹1,716.90 crores (inclusive of GST) from the Ministry of Railways. The latest order is expected to strengthen the company’s order book and improve the revenue visibility.
The entire order covers the supply of 9,994 units of wagons to total amended contract value of ₹10,404.10 crores. The order includes BOXNHL and BCNAHSM1 wagons and will be executed at the same price as mentioned in the original contract.
Total contract value rises up to ₹10,404.10 crores
The total number of amended contract values increased to ₹10,404.10 crores, while the progressive amount of units is 9,994. The additional order covers 4,955 wagon units of BOXNHL.
According to the company the regulatory filing date was October 28, 2026 (with shares coming in focus on October 29,2026). The original contract, placing the additional order at the same prices, terms and conditions as the existing contract.

Execution of deadline
The order has been awarded by the Ministry of Railway through the exercise of clause 12 (option clause). The contract involves the manufacturing and the supply of BOXNHL and BCNAHSM1 wagons. The company has also disclosed that the order is a nature and does not involve any related party involvement in between.
According to the company’s regulatory filing, the additional order is to be executed within 222 days from the date of the implementation of the amendment letter. The stipulation and the delivery time is June 7, 2027.
