Mumbai Metro Line 3, the Aqua Line, is Mumbai’s first fully underground metro: 33.5 km from Aarey JVLR in the north to Cuffe Parade in the south, with 27 stations. It has run end to end since October 2025, with fares from ₹10 to ₹70 and trains from 05:55 to 22:30. Its stations, fares, timings and the latest news are below.
Built by Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRCL), the Aqua Line is often called the Colaba–Bandra–SEEPZ line. It links the island city’s business districts at Cuffe Parade, Churchgate and CSMT with Worli, Dadar, the Bandra Kurla Complex, both terminals of Mumbai airport and the SEEPZ and MIDC employment hubs in Andheri, a north–south route that previously meant a crowded suburban train or a long road journey.
The Aqua Line runs under the densest part of Mumbai, where there was no room to build an elevated line, and it is the first metro to reach the old business district in the south of the city. It gives airport passengers a rail link to BKC and South Mumbai, and it takes pressure off the Western Railway suburban line, which runs parallel to it for much of the route.
The 27 stations below run north to south. Interchanges are listed where the station connects directly with another line or a main railway terminus.
